Peace and Healing Retreat with Mandaza and the World Drum

Mandaza Kandemwa is a nganga, a Bantu shaman or medicine man, in the Shona and Ndebele traditions of Zimbabwe. He carries with great heart the Central African tradition of healing and peacemaking. Experience an indigenous understanding of the interrelatedness of healing, peacemaking and community and a special ceremony with the World Drum.

Mandaza serves a large community in Zimbabwe that is dependent on him for food, healing and spiritual nourishment. Embraced by nature we will engage in ceremony, ritual, and council inspired by Shona and Nbebele traditions of Zimbabwe to bring healing and peace to ourselves, one other and the planet.
