I think about AID when caring comes to mind.
Awareness - you can't care if you are not aware there is a problem or someone in need. Have your radar on to spot others in need of care.
Intention - can't help unless you really want to.
Decision - make a decision to care and then "Do" something that aims to help the person in need of care. Sometimes it's difficult to know which actions are most helpful, but deciding to care will help determine that action is forthcoming.

There you go, you are now a caring person.

Marth ... wow those roads ... Great story my friend, I can see it happening. What a long day for you both. Amazing how we are presented with challenges in our life and how people appear almost out of nowhere to help. I am glad you are both safe and sound. Some things in life we really need to be grateful for. Cheers to the good Samaritan.

Wow!!!! Good old Ed pulls through!!! I'm glad you made it home safe... and I think it is a good thing to lend a hand to others... as long as it is safe to!~ There was a big accident in Alberta not long ago and my boss's brother almost died trying to help another person who had car trouble and he got hit by another car. So.. if you are going to help someone in need then pay attention to where you are and what is happening around you! Also... as say say in Newfoudland - "You can't drive in the winter without studs".
