Martha Lucier - B.Hk. B. Ed.

Martha Lucier is a shamanic practitioner and board member of the Society for Shamanic Practitioners (SSP). Along with her husband Todd Lucier, she has co-founded Northern Edge Algonquin Retreat Centre to provide experiences in nature that enable us to rediscover ourselves, empower each other and heal our connection to the Earth.

As a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies 3 year program and Shamanic Teacher Training with Sandra Ingerman, Martha has evolved her own Shamanic practice as principal teacher of shamanism at CCSS (www.shamanismcanada.com).

Martha facilitates Basic Shamanism Retreats and Advanced Shamanism 2 Year Programs, as well as Sacred Journeys by canoe into the heart of Algonquin Provincial Park, where her spirit is fully alive. She thrives on providing experiences that help us see our own reflection of beauty within nature's mirror.

"As I connect to my sacred roots listening to the voices of the ancestors, I honour my connection to the web of life. As a living prayer I am both the weaver and the web and invite others to join me in re-igniting and connecting the sacred flame within. As global citizens we are all one tribe indigenous to the earth. Let us find ourselves together in one circle of deep peace dancing, singing and walking barefoot upon our Earth Mother."
